Have you ever wondered what makes people around the world happy? Are you aware that people in the mountains live longer than those in the city? Do you believe that it’s not too late for you to revisit your way of living? Discover a spiritual healing at work – Tibetan meditation.

Tibetan meditation primarily focuses on healing the mind in order to address the various sickness of the body and to uplift the spirit. It teaches us to choose our reactions to our experiences. For instance, when problems arise, most of us would blame our sufferings to the negative aspects without considering the possible learning that we can acquire from that experience. In effect, we tend to experience much greater pain arising from small negative incidents.

A Closer View

For most of us, Tibetan meditation immediately implies a form of healing. In ancient Tibetan culture’s perspective, it is simply a way of living to achieve a deeper sense of enhancing health. It requires a profound devotion to various practices in relation to spiritual aspects. Such practices originate from positive results witnessed in promoting fundamental sanity and a deeper sense of compassion. All in all perception towards Tibetan meditation is viewed as a road leading to enlightenment. Nevertheless, as time evolved, these spiritual practices were viewed by people around the globe as a solution to various illnesses of the body, mind and spirit.

Mindfulness Practice

In all parts of the world, stress is one of the most debilitating illnesses that have been considered as inevitable. It doesn’t just impact the body but also the mind and even the spirit. Tibetan meditation teaches us that stress can be dealt with by understanding the concept of basic sanity. It is known as the ability of our mind to collaborate with our body’s activities. This method of meditation is referred to as shi-né which means “mindfulness practice”.

Shi-né is a typical form of meditation which has been the basis of modern stress reduction approach. There are two ways of stress reduction based on shi-né. First, it helps us eliminate the stress which has been naturally within us. Second, it helps us take the most appropriate actions in order to reduce stress from our environment.

Tibetan meditation has been proven effective in helping us prevent and eliminate illnesses by simply helping us deal with stress. Once stress is eliminated, our body can be expected to function normally and lightly. Healing is likely to take place once we have lightened up. In effect, we feel better. Using the power of Tibetan meditation, we can achieve better peace of mind while keeping our body healthier.
